Supply Chain Resilience Process Model

1. Supply Chain Resilience Process Model

The first tool is a process model for supply chain resilience, involving a cross-organizational team from the company. The team typically includes representatives from:

  • Sales
  • Production
  • Procurement
  • Product development
  • Finance
  • IT

The process is carried out in four phases:

  1. Mapping the supply chain
Gaining an overview of suppliers, dependencies, and critical links.
  2. Individual assessment of vulnerabilities and capabilities
Employees assess vulnerabilities and capabilities using software. Companies can choose between three predefined lists of vulnerabilities and capabilities:
  3. Joint assessment of vulnerabilities and capabilities
The team consolidates and discusses the assessments in a shared, software-supported overview.
  4. Development of action plans
Concrete and prioritized initiatives that strengthen resilience and reduce risk.

The purpose is to create a shared understanding, better decision-making, and targeted actions.
